What is driving up Waldo home sale prices? Not enough inventory, lots of buyers and bidding wars. Once again, sales prices beat the listing price for last month’s stats. Here is the single family home sales report for September 2017, with comparisons to last year; and I’m using the street boundaries of Gregory to 85th St and Holmes to State Line:

The lowest closed price in Waldo last month was $37,500 and the highest was $317,500. Nine of the 29 homes closed at or above list price. One house, listed at $119,000 sold for $139,000–that’s $20K over asking price!
