It’s the annual Brookside Sidewalk Sale, starting today and running through Saturday. Browse the shops along and around 63rd St and pick up some bargains! Many of our favorite shops will be offering deals, including A STORE NAMED STUFF, Corner Candleshop, Sierra Winter, LADYCO and more.
In addition, the Shred Event is Saturday from 8am-11am, in the parking lot between the tennis courts and Red Door Grill.

Supporting our local merchants is more important than ever at this time…please considering checking out the annual Brookside Sidewalk Sale this weekend! Many shops will be offering special discounts and sales–some eateries as well–starting Thursday July 9 through Saturday July 11. A partial list of participants include 5B&Co Candlemakers, Tuesday Morning, Lady Bye, COCO Brookside and Charlie Hooper’s.
Also on Saturday is the annual Brookside Shred Event. A paper shredding truck will be stationed in the parking lot behind Jalapeno’s starting at 8am. Limit of two boxes of paper per household for shredding.

Stroll along the 63rd St sidewalks and browse the bargains…many merchants set up items just outside their doors, with more sale items inside the cool air conditioned stores. I always find great deals during the sidewalk sale…it’s worth the trip! You’ll find discounts on various merchandise from 40-75%!
Also happening on Saturday–the Shred It for area residents. From 8am-11am, bring papers for shredding (up to two boxes per person) to the parking lot behind Jalepeno’s for safe and secure shredded disposal of documents and various personal papers.

It’s time for the annual Brookside Sidewalk Sale–Thursday July 6 through Sunday July 10, 2017!
Various merchants will set up tables on the sidewalks on 63rd St east of Wornall. You will find all sorts of bargains here: jewelry, clothes, decor, small gifts and household goods, and some surprises–“oh, I could use one of those!”. Plus, it’s always nice to chat with shop owners and neighbors that are browsing at the same time. Make a day of it and stop for a snack, coffee or lunch at one of Brookside’s local eateries!
Also, the annual Shred Event is Saturday July 8 from 8am-11am in the parking lot between Commerce Bank and the tennis courts (Meyer and Brookside Road). There is a limit on how much you can bring to shred: two standart file sized boxes or grocery sacks.

Brookside Sidewalk Sale
This is a perfect weekend to enjoy the annual Brookside Sidewalk Sale! Yes, it’s hot outside, but not unbearably humid and temperatures are under 95 degrees. I love the Sidewalk Sale because not only can you pick up a few bargains, but you usually run into neighbors for a chat and it’s a good excuse to go shopping and support our locally owned businesses.
The sale runs today and tomorrow, beginning on 63rd St east of Wornall and continues for several blocks. A list of Brookside merchants can be found at the website.
