Brookside is hosting another Sip & Shop tonight, Sept. 18, from 5-8pm…looks like the rain will be finished up way before then! Stroll along 63rd St and browse through the shops, sipping drink samples and checking out the in store specials. Be sure and stop at one of the food spots for a bite or leisurely dinner while you are out! Thank you for supporting our locally owned Brookside businesses!
Don’t you love these cooler evenings?? Soon the tall trees will have colorful autumn leaves and we will be wearing sweaters! There’s always several outdoor events this time of year; two are happening this week to note:
Another Brookside Sip & Shop takes place on Thursday evening, Sept 14. From 5-7pm, you can stroll the shops and partake in a sampling of adult beverages while you browse through our locally owned businesses. Stay and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants; there will be food specials too!
On Saturday Sept 16, the 31st Annual Waldo Fall Fest happens at Gregory and Wornall, starting at 10am. There will be food trucks, live music, and booths with local makers and services. Bring the family! Be aware this event takes place in a mostly residential area and watch for extra pedestrians and strollers!

Shoppers can’t get enough of Brookside! You may know about the fall Brookside Sip & Shop; due to it’s success, the Brookside Business Association added another event for Spring! And it looks like the weather will be pleasant for a leisurely stroll along 63rd St.
It’s happening tonight, March 30 from 5-7pm. Ditch the car and walk along 63rd St later today, stopping in the shops, taking advantage of special giveaways, deals and free drink samples! Make an evening of it and dine in one of the many restaurants in the area. Be sure to ask about any Sip & Shop specials! All are welcome.

Enjoy strolling along 63rd St Brookside tonight during the Sip and Shop! Various merchants will have wine samples and restaurant specials from 5-7pm on Thursday, Sept 20, 2018, focusing on 63rd St between Wornall and Main and along Brookside Plaza.
Participating shops include Stuff, Lady Bye, Fiddly Fig, New Dime Store, Brookside Barkery, Party Warehouse and COCO. There are some excellent restaurant deals too–at Red Door Grill, Michael Forbes, Charlie Hoopers and several more. You can see the complete list at www.brooksidekc.org.
